SEMIOTICS - 50 SIGNS

In today's class we learnt about semiotics. Which can also be known as signs, it can be a sound image, word or even a gesture. There are 3 type of signs which is icon, index and symbol.

Icon : Visual Representation of a Concept

Index : Indicator of Concept and implies based on evidence

Symbol : Code for the concept, need to be learnt to understand the symbol with no resemblance

We were told to draw 50 signs that relates back to our topic. I had tried to do as much as I could but I could not come out with 50 because it was very difficult. Some might be in the wrong category.
