  • For my project I think I would want to focus on the design and packaging and how it attracts the consumer.

  • Problems and issues of merchandising design

  • How the advertisements are fake

Victorial Secret is one of the most popular lingerie brand. However, their collection is very limited to one standard only which is skinny, modelling looking girls. Over the years, they have changed their style and tactics that have led to their downfall. They are many protests that incourage VS to change their ways and make their brand more diverse so their customers are not limited to one standard of beauty. I wanted to make a poster that tells people that VS can keep their brand to be standardise with no diversity but wouldn’t it be better if there was diversity and fairness for people. Every women needs to be shown that their flaws are what makes their beauty.

VICTORIA SECRET

  • Real or Fake - inform brands to stop lying to their consumers

  • VS packaging and design used to be cute now its not in style anymore now very expensive, back then it was very popular and everyone wanted it because how famous it is and the models who promote it. People are seen to be attracted to it because of fitting in with the trend.

This article shows that people are protesting for Victorial Secret to be more Diverse. Because they only provide for ‘Skinny people’ and their ‘Standards’. Ed Razek said some controversial things about plus-size and transgender women. Razek told Vogue that the show doesn’t intend on becoming more diverse because the show is a “fantasy,” and clearly, women who don’t fit the stereotypical VS mold are not desirable.

Victorial Secret has lost it sexy , it has changed their ways such as selling cute bras and clothes. Not only did the longer sale period fail to drive traffic and sales, but the deeper discount levels used to lure demand also led margin to decline “significantly,” L Brands said. VS had decided to stop manufacturing most of their collection and reduce the sales and promotion which had led them to lowering their income.

Some products can say ‘all sizes’ when people buy online and actually receiving the product might be different to the one shown and told by the brand
