Hector Janse van Rensburg also known as 'Shitty Watercolour', is a British painter and cartoonist who creates watercolour art and post them on social media and he later then expanded in creating his own website, twitter account and other platforms that presents his art works.
I only notice his artwork through 'BTS' the Korean, as he often creates art using 'BTS' as his subjects. His work is very popular among the fans in social media such as twitter, his twitter account '@SWatercolour'.
I find his art work really pleasing and inspiring because he has his own individual style that he incorporate in his work that is very different to other artists. Like said art does not have to be perfect and realistic looking but just something that people would be able to understand the story behind through the image. “I’m not sure if the name was a mistake or not. I don’t see myself as a particularly creative or artistic person at all. I don’t really know what I’m doing.” He once answered answered this when asked about his name. Because of this I feel more reassure that I don't need to create a perfect piece that says 'Everything has to look realistic, not too animated'. I feel less pressure about not being that 'creative or artist person'.
His main medium that he usually use are watercolour or rather 'wet art', which would explain his name. The artwork that he creates usually does not consist an enormous amount of wording however, the object containing in the subject tells the story and what the message of the piece is portraying without using wording to communicate.
