MONDAY APRIL 15TH,

DESIGN PRINCIPLE

During this class we were able to different random art to express emotions. We were allowed to create anything that comes in mind with different random objects and mediums such as watercolours, markers, acrylic, ink, colour pencils and etc. This is to experiment different textures and go out of our comfort zone. Later after we need to analyze what we have created.

The piece that I created on the left side of the picture is my expression of 'Happy' because it uses various colourful colours that reminds me of having fun.

The left piece that looks like a leaf looks as if its an emotion of shy and fragile because of how the darker colour goes around the lighter colour as a shield and defend to protect the lighter colour.

The blue piece on top reminds me of 'sadness' and 'Nervous' because of the colour that showcase as cries and the sea. For me, this reminds me of the sea which I am afraid of because only 5% of the ocean is discovered and there could be much more scary and dangerous sea creatures that has not been discovered yet.

The red and yellow piece reminds me of both 'Nervous' and 'Strong'. The yellow identify that it seems nervous around the red color because of how stronger the effect and it looks as if it overshadows the lighter colour.

The one on the right demonstrate 'Fragile' and 'Calm' for me because the pink colour shows a very delicate and gentle touch towards the red colour which shows more of a boldness emotion.
