MONDAY 22ND APRIL, Red Dots

DESIGN PRINCIPLE -

In today's class were had to explore different context of a situation and see how it can have different meanings in different contexts. We were then shown a picture of a red ball and a string attach around the ball, we had to create different 10 different drawings of what the red ball could be identify as. At first we had all down the basic drawing of what it could one being the nose of a clown. As we were running out of ideas, most of the drawing became very random and does not make sense. My mind was already blocked of any imagination but then we were told to create 20 more drawings.

Even though this exercise was very difficult at first but I think it makes us think outside of the box and explore more things that we might have not thought of in the beginning. This also thought me that context is very important to interpret what the meaning and what we as creators are trying to send our messages so people are able to understand the context of the situation.
